- Account information: Email, name, phone number (for subscriptions)
- Payment information: Collected and processed by Stripe (we never store card numbers)
- Research inputs: Company names, contact names, meeting topics you provide for enrichment and briefing
Automatically Collected
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information
- Cookies: Session tracking and analytics (see Cookie Policy below)
How We Use Your Information
- Provide the Service (research, enrichment, briefings)
- Process payments and send receipts
- Send service updates and delivery notifications
- Improve the Service and develop new features
- Comply with legal obligations
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), Pinecone (vault storage), Fly.io (hosting)
- Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger or acquisition
All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for providing services to us.
Data Retention
- Active accounts: We retain your data while your account is active
- After cancellation: Purchase history retained for 7 years (tax/legal requirement), vault data deleted within 30 days unless you request export
- Backups: Deleted data may persist in backups for up to 90 days
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Correct: Update inaccurate information
- Delete: Request deletion of your account and data
- Export: Download your vault contents in portable format
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails (service emails still sent)

Security
We use industry-standard security measures:
- TLS encryption for data in transit
- Encryption at rest for vault storage (Pinecone)
- Access controls and authentication
- Regular security audits and monitoring (Sentry)
However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies
We use cookies for:
- Essential: Session management, authentication (required)
- Analytics: Understanding usage patterns (optional, PostHog)
You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover we've collected data from a child, we delete it immediately.
California Residents (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under CCPA:
- Right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it
- Right to deletion (with certain exceptions)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights
We do not sell personal information.
EU Residents (GDPR)
